The inhouse PA announcer for the Cincinnati Cyclones, Florence Y’alls and the Kentucky Barrels, JD returns to the 96ROCK airwaves.  He’s the guy entrusted with your workday, mostly because we ran out of other people willing to work the 10–2 shift.

JD brings you the perfect mix of rock knowledge, questionable life advice, opinions, and sports takes that nobody asked for.

Whether he’s calling out traffic on the Brent Spence Bridge like it personally wronged him, oversharing about his Mini Dachshund, or deep-diving into rock songs like he’s hosting a dissertation defense, he’s here to make your workday feel shorter — or at least distract you long enough that you forget how long it actually is.

When he’s off the air, JD enjoys pretending he knows what “meal prep” means, avoiding every home improvement project he started in 2020, and claiming he has a “guy” for everything (he doesn’t). JD — making Cincinnati better since… well, whenever we hired him… again”
