Hinder hits the road for the first time since last fall last night when it began it's summer U.S. swing with Staind and headliners 3 Doors Down. Asked if his hard-partying band was looking forward to touring again with some old friends, frontman Austin Winkler said they were ready for action: "(Laughs) Yes, we try to make the best of every bill, but, you know, Staind, they're amazing guys, and the guys in 3 Doors are awesome, and we're gonna have a great tour for sure. I'm sure a lot of debauchery going on."

The new tour will stretch through the entire summer and end in late September. It rolls through Riverbend on September 6th with Finger Eleven replacing Staind. Hinder will release its second album, titled Take It To The Limit, on November 4th.

3 Doors Down

will perform their current single "It’s Not My Time" and "Kryptonite" before the 2008 MLB Home Run Derby on Monday July 14th, 8PM ET at Yankee Stadium. One song from the performance will be broadcasted live by ESPN

Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello's performance with Bruce Springsteen during Springsteen's April 7th concert in Anaheim, California will be featured on a four-song digital EP called Magic Tour Highlights. The July 15th release will feature both audio and video tracks recorded live in concert during the E Street Band's current Magic tour. Morello joined Springsteen onstage on both the 7th and 8th for an electric version of the latter's "The Ghost of Tom Joad". The two have been friends for about 10 years and ran into eachother at a recording studio a couple of days before the show, and came up with the idea.

Morello said he doesn't get nervous for too much for shows but was terrified for this appearance. But it went great. The crowd was awesome and soloing over the rocking E Street Band while the Boss nods his approval is...those are a couple of nights that he'll remember forever. The collection will be available at all digital download outlets including the iTunes store. It also features a guest appearance by Byrds founder Roger McGuinn, as well as a song from late E Street keyboardist Danny Federici's final performance with the band.

Rage Against The Machine recorded its own version of "The Ghost of Tom Joad" for its 2000 covers album, Renegades. Rage Against The Machine is playing European festivals throughout the summer, but will return home to headline the second day of this year's Lollapalooza festival on August 2nd in Chicago's Grant Park.
